Um, my bro in Christ fully skipped the part where it was the Catholic Church that canonized which books make up the Bible and declared it the authoritative Word of God. Christ gives Catholic Church authority to teach and preach and then Catholic Church gave us the Bible. 👍
❤loved this thank you
YHWH desires us to know Him; not just about Him. Father God/El Roi/ Elohim, has much more in relationship to give us, if you truely desire to know Him; more. Did you know that we were created as spirit-beings in Heaven and when we came to earth, via our Mothers; our human bodys grew around us and squashed our spirits, somthered us and we forget why we came from Heaven, due to the fallen nature. Father God wants to have more relationship with us and wants us to come and go from Heaven as the spirit-beings He created but from earth, to do this, we can only go up as returning, reclaimed spirit-beings in control and not the flesh, while we live on earth. Like John got the invitation to go up to Heaven in Revelations 4. Yes this is totally possible, please ask Father God, YHWH, for yourselves Always thriugh and in JEsus/Yeshua; He is the only way to Heaven and Holy Spirit/Ruach reveals Jesus; any other way is wrong, in the wrong kingdom.
A well delivered message. YHWH is wonderful. There are two kingdoms. 1: The Way of LIFE and the way of death. As we are told in Ephesians 6:12 that if is not a battle of the flesh but of wicked spirits.... And now 2 thessalonians chapter 2 has happened. Yhank you for speaking the Hebrew words and meanings.
Your Honesty gives me Hope, to continue on my path with Yeshua…
I had this video pop up on UA-cam for me a while ago. I put it aside to watch/listen to later, but forgot about it. I saved it because I saw the title 'Pray for Power', and for years I've been desperate for Him to help in a big way. I'm probably what humans identify as autistic. I don't seem to share the same view point as the average person the Bible appears to be speaking to, the proud egocentric (if that's the right term) person trying to place themselves above everyone else around them, or even just in their own lives. The development of acts in society to demote others just doesn't make sense to me, things like the backhanded slap mentioned in the 'Sermon on the Mount' with the symbolism behind it of saying you're worth more than them. how does that sort of thing develop in the widely recognised act it was back then? Anyway, I've been very self-deprecating all my life, feeling like I fall short of much higher standards I hold myself to compared to others, so verses about humbling yourself sometimes reinforced feelings of worthlessness. Other traits of what society identifies as autistic is the intense interests that could appear to well meaning neurotypical Christians as 'excessive' and are described as 'obsessive' in the various things that try to define 'autism'. This different perspective means that I've prayed for years for communities to be built up around those interests. I questioned the piece about the rich man coming to Jesus and Jesus' command for him to sell everything he had. Why couldn't he have used the resources he had to establish a community like I would if I had the resources? The most recent version is 'The Rescue & Restoration Way', something that would take our small family farm and a few abandoned neighbouring properties and establish a preservation farm (similar to preservation railways here in the UK, preserving and restoring classic farm equipment, etc but going a step further and continuing to operate the farm with them), while also being a place for neurodivergent people to come to to be respected for who they are rather than looked down upon by a society that doesn't want different-acting people within it (as is too often the experience of many neurodivergent people, autistic and otherwise). It would also be a place for rescuing animals, from cats and dogs to donkeys, sheep, etc. Maybe the title of it is a hint to this, but it would be a Christian community aimed to reunite Christians as the single group of people frequently pointed to in the Bible following 'The Way' as Jesus was identified prior to the development of the 'Christian' title. Being a farm, it would hopefully be easy to isolate it from any specific denomination, but in taking a hint from the neurodivergent communities' approach to catering to the wide variety of needs every individual has, we'd have 'Christian accommodations' for each denomination's choices of literature, etc, rotating shelving in various rooms for presenting them with what they are used to and covering anything that they wouldn't, etc, (being in Northern Ireland, denominational differences, even if only being applied politically, have a history of 'significant dispute'), just like how neurodivergent people can have accommodations in a workplace or similar of ear protection for noise sensitivity, etc. The farm could hopefully also be a way into learning about Jesus in a more neurodivergent friendly way too. Many neurodivergent people can feel put off by overly social church gatherings, loud echoing buildings, etc, and many elements of the Bible when it might not be speaking literally or similar can be more difficult to follow or be mis-understood. Something I struggled with in school was when a teacher addressed the class in a seemingly aggressive way relating to work that needed done or similar. I had it explained that their tone etc was to get through to a few specific more difficult students, not at me, but that never stopped me panicking over it every time the 'class' was addressed like that. As a result, something not addressing me specifically as I read it can cause doubt, like reading a proverb about wicked people, acting selfishly, etc when I feel I've been trying my best. Or hearing those verses I will sooner question 'am I not doing good enough' rather than see it as this style of getting through to the 'thicker skulled' people, and that can be damaging, so others like me would benefit from a place that can offer that clarification. I'm back at this video now because I opened the latest Bible Project Podcast video on 'Treasure in Heaven' and on moving the tab to the side to listen to it while watching a video of a classic farm machinery working day I found this tab again. Both that and the first 15 minutes of this video (where I've paused) caused strong feelings that I've actually been committed to the right idea for all this time. I've been doubting it because so long has passed with seemingly little to no progress, and to make this idea for a community work would take millions of pounds I don't have, but God is all powerful, so if it's His will, it could cost trillions and it will still happen. I'm confused as to what is expected. I keep bouncing between moments of optimism when things seem to fall in line, then time passes with nothing happening or something getting worse/threatening to deteriorate rapidly at any moment, then back to moments like this where the Bible talks about establishing, as described here, 'fairy-tale' communities like the one I dream of where we can all work together, body-doubling the difficult tasks, integrating our various special interests into the rest wherever possible for a win-win environment. I'm powerless to make any steps myself for various reasons, but I've tried to reach out to a minister about it, first for guidance on how to cope in the current overwhelming circumstances, then the 'The Rescue & Restoration Way' idea, but God's will was to send him to Poland that week, and I still have noone to communicate with as he's now doing a walk in England, then is off on holiday and sabbatical for a month and a half. Meanwhile circumstances keep piling up that 'TRRW' would solve, significantly help with, prevent, etc.
I avoid conflict as well. Several weeks ago I was listening to a pastor and he said something from the pulpit that was counter to jesus's teachings. I felt pushed to call him on it. He was fairly mad.
9 to 10 am (approximately) An absolute joy to my heart and soul. Thank you!
I continue to be blessed by your teaching. I do really wish I could hear your closing prayers in all of your teachings. God bless
John The Baptist was neutral??
Beautiful 💗
Thank you, Tim. Excellent teaching, reminding us that the selfish desire can rule and destroy us.
brilliant ♥ thank you
Ya know I’mma just say it: the way God’s glory is presented doesn’t seem to add up to me, God wants to partner and increase the love and goodness in the world… for his own benefit… no just no
God Bless you I'm very happy to see such deep learning ♥
How do you reconcile that with the idea that He has no beginning and end?
So awesome. Thanks, Lord, for the Gift of Yourself and Your Words through Tim. Please Bless him abundantly and use him Mightily for Your Glory. Amen 💕🙏🏻⚘️
Are you with me?

The Father Who Loves, The Son Who gives and the Holy Spirit Who transforms....... I love you LORD, ....... cant wait to do it again
This is dope!!!
I remembered somewhere about the middle here that some ancient Hebrew scholars back before Copernicus concluded purely on the basis of the Hebrew that: * the universe started out smaller than a grain of mustard, i.e. the smallest thing possible * it was filled with fluid * it expanded more rapidly than humans can comprehend * at first the fluid was so dense that light couldn't shine * as the universe expanded the fluid got thinner and thinner until light could shine * once light could shine, God commanded light to exist * the universe is old beyond human comprehension * the Earth is old beyond human counting I about fell off my chair when I first read this because that sounds like how a cosmologist might summarize the Big Bang, yet they came up with these conclusions straight from the Hebrew back before there were even telescopes!
This was interesting to me because my introduction to the issue was via learning Hebrew and reading ancient Hebrew literature and then seeing that the first Creation account fit ancient near eastern genres, so when I encountered people saying it had to be fit to match evolution and others saying it had to be taken literally my reaction was pretty much, "Huh? What are you talking about?" If I could send this video back in time to me then, I could respond, "Your approaches violate basic principles of human communication" -- that's just a great line because it moves the issue to the real issue! BTW, is there a version of this with video so we can see Tim and what he has on the screen? I think we're missing a LOT by not seeing his slides.
We came across this passage in the Healing Time Journal 📝

I don’t understand how you cut the Torah down to just the 10 commandments.
Tim Mackie is a true gift from God. What an amazing human being…not because of his teaching, humility, biblical genius, the list goes on….but because EVERY SINGLE time he speaks he points me to Jesus. The AUTHENTIC person of Jesus Christ.

Honestly, Tim is the person who helped me get closer to God a year ago and gave me confidence that faith and reason go hand in hand. He has brought me so close to God, and I am thankful for that. Excellent work!
beautiful thank you ♥
This is one of several reasons why I am so totally done with Western Christianity. I'm begs a question that was not explored. WHY does Western Christianity NOT know how to LAMENT? Pastors obviously are not taught how to Lament in seminary. The Western Church is like an IDENTICAL TWIN of the Culture. How tragic is that. Lament, a 3rd of the largest book in the Bible and Christians have no clue whatsoever even how to process Lament. It's actually a subtle tirm if abuse because the implicit message if Church culture is: No Lament allowed here. No expression of your inner groaning of Romans 8v22 allowed here. Is it any wonder that so many leave the Church! I had to gir my own safety. Because tragically and ironically the Church is NOT a SAFE space to be that real. Lament is BIBLICAL PRAYER because God is giving us so much space to take our deepest pain to Him because the Psalms of Lament is God's provision of how to PROCESS our deepest pain. BUT THE WESTERN CHURCH IS JUST NOT INTERESTED. IT CLINGS TOO TIGHTLY TO ITS CULTURAL, Psychological, AND RELIGIOUS FIG LEAVES, Even while paying kip service to Justification. Utterly Tragic.
The idea that we are NOW or STILL 2000 years later in the “overlap” phase of the Coming Kingdom is a popular teaching for sure. This supppses that the church is effectively between 2 Covenants- the old covenant of Moses and the New Covenant of Christ. UNTIL Christ visibly RETURNS to reign on earth then the kingdom cannot said to be FULFILLED or the New Covenant a Reality. Certainly there appears to be a period of transition in the 1st Century when the Gospel of the Kingdom was announced and when it would be fully formed . It is called by scholars the Already but not yet . Scripture suggests that the Kingdom or Salvation or Righteousness are present realities but other texts suggest they are still in the Future. To accept that we are still in a transition stage means that NOBODY has gone to HEAVEN because the RESURRECTION has not happened . This is a huge doctrinal problem with only one obvious solution.
If there exists angry Christians, my suspicion is it may be due to the absolute intolerance by non-Christians for the Christians belief in Creation. My dear brother, whom I love so much, is downright nasty towards me if I ever try to engage him in conversation; I like to talk about Mitochondrial Eve (among many other topics that may point to creation rather than evolution) and he mocks me, he tells me I'm stupid and an idiot to believe such things. He has degrees in aviation and geology; I have degrees in engineering and mathematics. Neither of us is stupid, but he refuses to even consider an opposing viewpoint. One other thing: I love Mackie. He has a way of connecting scriptural dots and I learn so much from him (I am a 42-year student of the bible so I'm good at confirming what is and what isn't scriptural). Anyway, sometimes I think--as in this lecture--that Tim is attempting to sidle up to the non-Christians by being critical of Christians. Just my sense.
Tim Mackie is a false teacher. His views on marriage and homosexuality go against Romans 1, 1st Corinthians 6, & Leviticus 18. If Alan Ritchson is recommending Mackie, he needs to spend more time in the Word and less time listening to false teaching.
The more I watch Tim (and others), I realize that Tim (and others) have no idea what the Kingdom of God actually is.
I think the first thing Dr.Mackie should do.before each of his lectures is make it very clear to his audience his stand on divorce and remarriage. I'd pay to see that.
I love Tim's presentation style. Quirky. Funny. Engaging. Humble. Inviting. Real. Etc., etc.
I am blessed with the fruit of the spirit of faith. I am always on the same frequency and vibration of faith which allows me to bring 36,500 in my life on a continuous basis so easily and effortlessly. Thank you Father God Jehovah. I am now financially free in the name of Jesus and in the blood of Jesus. Amen.
Brother you are teaching incorrectly and not What Jesus taught.. @5:21 you say that we are to live with all this freedom, and that there aren't that many things required of us. ...I know paul teaches that you its only faith and not by works but that is not what God said, nor his Son. Why are you listening to Paul and rejecting God? Did Paul not say in Rom 3:4 so that you might pass when you are tested...."Let God be true and every man a liar" vs6 Paul says "I speak as man" 3:7 But if Gods truth and abounded THROUGH MY LIE unto glory, why am Still judged as a sinner? Its a rhetorical question, the obvious answer is because lying is a sin, that false prophets do not holy and true prophets. Jesus did not teach that. Jesus warns us about false prophets who say we dont need to bare fruit in order to enter the kingdom. Jesus Said Jesus said we must keep the commandmets in order to have eternal life. . In Rev 22 when he said I am the Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end. the first and the last. Behold I come quickly and my reward is with me to give every man according to what his Work may be. whether they be good or bad. Blessed are they that keep my commandments for they shall eat of the tree of life, but all those who dont keep them are dogs... Paul calls the commandments a curse and teaches us not to keep them. This is anti christ. Who are you going to believe?
My oldest son once hurt himself. He was little, six I think. He thought I would be mad at him for injuring himself. I had just finished telling him to be careful and not run around the house at full speed. Then he tripped and face planted a table. I think the fear comes from a place of shame. I simply approached, knelt and said let me hold you. I never had a hug so fast in my life. He just hugged me and sobbed. I said are you ok? He said yea I'm fine. I thought you would be mad because you just told me not to run fast. I said the young do not always do as they are told. I still love you. Please be careful with your self in the future. We cuddled for a while longer before he went to play with his cars. Pastor Tim thank you for the words that have touched me.
I❤❤❤❤❤ the bible project ❤❤❤
